Youth Leagues/Clinics/Open Plays

The Drop 208 Pickleball Club is a vibrant community that fosters a safe, fun, and engaging environment where young players can develop their pickleball skills and passion for the game. We offer a range of programs and activities designed to cater to the unique needs of youth, providing a supportive and inclusive space for them to learn, grow, and enjoy the game.

Pee-Wee Clinic

The Pee-Wee Clinic is tailored for budding pickleball players ages 5 to 7, offering a one-hour session each week for four weeks. This program focuses on introducing the fundamental skills of pickleball, enhancing hand-eye coordination, and, most importantly, ensuring that the experience is enjoyable and safe for our youngest athletes.

Intermediate Youth Clinic

The Intermediate Youth Clinic is designed for pickleball players ages 8 to 14 who have a solid grasp of the game's rules and are looking for a more competitive experience. The league consists of one and a half-hour sessions each week for six weeks, split into instruction, drills, and strategy sessions, followed by gameplay. This program provides a fun and competitive atmosphere where young athletes can refine their skills, develop their gameplay, and take their pickleball skills to the next level.

Newbie Youth Clinic (1st Step)

The Newbie Youth Clinic is designed for new pickleball players ages 8 to 14, featuring weekly sessions of one and a half hours over six weeks. Each session will include: instruction and drills, followed by gameplay. This program emphasizes the fundamental skills of pickleball, improves hand-eye coordination, and prioritizes a fun and safe environment for our young athletes to learn and thrive.

Happy Young Girls

Youth Open-Play

Youth Open-play is an enjoyable and interactive event designed for young players to engage with peers of similar age and skill levels, divided into categories of 8 to 14 and 15 to 18 years old. Each session lasts for one and a half hours, providing a relaxed environment for youth to practice and play. The cost is $10 per child, making it an affordable way for them to participate and develop their pickleball skills.

Novice Youth Clinic

The Novice Youth Clinic is designed for youth that have played pickleball before but need help with rules and scoring (ages 8 - 14). The Clinic features weekly sessions of one and a half hours over six weeks. Each session is divided into two segments: instruction and drills, followed by gameplay. This program emphasizes the fundamental skills of pickleball, improves hand-eye coordination, and prioritizes a fun and safe environment for our young athletes to learn and thrive.

Cost: $65

Kids Running

Home School Play

For homeschooled youth, we offer a discounted rate of $5 per hour per child for access to open courts between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. This opportunity can count towards a PE credit, providing a valuable way for students to engage in physical activity. Reservations are required in advance to ensure availability.
